Local Missions

Antioch Bible Church’s Mission Ministry exists to glorify God by making disciples through education, training, evaluation and providing opportunities to minister and serve cross-culturally with the Gospel of Jesus Christ – Across the Street and Around the World.

For more than two decades, Antioch has been facilitating this Blessing Basket Outreach. Holiday food baskets provide Thanksgiving and Christmas meals, as well as basic pantry items for those who may be in need of a helping hand.
This outreach not only cares for people in our church, but also for many in Kirkland Heights, the Section-8 housing development in our neighborhood.
We have been working with a local QFC manager for many years whose team looks forward to ordering and boxing all the food items for us to pick up. You can donate financially and/or deliver those food boxes and pray with families who are receiving them.

GEM was founded to provide short-term mission teams with the training and equipment necessary to hold vision clinics overseas. A patient’s prescription is determined with an auto-refractor and the computer system then searches the inventory of (donated) glasses to find a match. Even greater than a free pair of glasses, each patient will have the gospel explained to them and many people have come to Christ.
Antioch Missions is proud to partner with GEM by collecting your donated prescription glasses and/or readers, year-round, to contribute to GEM’s inventory. All you have to do is donate “Across the Street” and your gift will bless people “Around the World”!

Search + Rescue vans drive throughout the greater Seattle area to hand out life-saving supplies and care to men and women. Volunteers give wool blankets, food, water, and other supplies to our homeless neighbors and offer them the opportunity to come inside for a night of safe shelter at the Mission.
We also offer prayer and a listening ear. Regular volunteers extend their hands and hearts to build meaningful relationships with men and women who desperately need to connect in healthy, significant ways.
Antioch Teams go out every other Tuesday from 7:00 to 11:00pm.
