Jason Carlson 2017Rev. Jason Carlson is the President of Christian Ministries International, an organization founded by his father, Dr. Ron Carlson, that is devoted to evangelism and equipping Christians to have answers for their faith. Jason is a graduate of Bethel University and received his Masters degree in Philosophy and Christian Worldview from Bethel Seminary in St. Paul, MN.  His ministry has taken him to 30 countries on six continents speaking and teaching in churches, pastor’s conferences, schools, universities, and seminaries. He is a gifted communicator who clearly and lovingly communicates the Biblical Worldview in response to contemporary cultural challenges facing the church. Jason has appeared on numerous national radio programs and has contributed to a number of book projects, including Apologetics For A New Generation and the Holman Apologetics Study Bible for Students.

William Craig 2017Dr. William Craig is Research Professor of Philosophy at Talbot School of Theology in La Mirada, California. At the age of sixteen as a junior in high school, he first heard the message of the Christian Gospel and yielded his life to Christ. Dr. Craig received his B.A. at Wheaton College, M.A. at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, Ph.D. from the University of Birmingham in England and D.Theol. from the University of Munich in Germany. From 1980-86 he taught Philosophy of Religion at Trinity. He and his family moved to Brussels, Belgium where Dr. Craig pursued research at the University of Louvain until assuming his position at Talbot School of Theology in 1994. Dr. Craig is an international lecturer and debater. He has presented to numerous audiences in North America, Europe and Asia and he is known for his skillful communication to both scholar and student alike. He has authored or edited over thirty books, including The Kalam Cosmological Argument; Assessing the New Testament Evidence for the Historicity of the Resurrection of Jesus; Divine Foreknowledge and Human Freedom; Theism, Atheism and Big Bang Cosmology; and God, Time and Eternity as well as over a hundred articles in professional journals of philosophy and theology. Dr. Craig’s areas of specialization include the following: arguments for the existence of God, nature of God, interface of science and religion, intelligent design, meaning of life, challenging of religious pluralism and more.  He and his wife, Jan, have two grown children.

Craig Evans 2017Dr. Craig Evans received his Ph.D. in New Testament from Claremont Graduate University and the D.Habil. from the Reformed University of Budapest. Evans taught at Trinity Western University for more than twenty years, where he founded the Dead Sea Scrolls Institute and directed the Graduate Program in Biblical Studies, and thirteen years at Acadia Divinity College in eastern Canada. He is now the John Bisagno Distinguished Professor of Christian Origins and Dean of the School of Christian Thought at Houston Baptist University in Texas. He has authored many books, including: Jesus and His Contemporaries, Ancient Writings for New Testament Studies and Fabricating Jesus: How Modern Scholars Distort the Gospels. Evans has lectured at Universities and frequently speaks at scholarly and popular conferences in North America and around the world, including the well-known Biblical Archaeology Society seminars. Evans appears regularly in various specials on History Channel, Discovery Channel, National Geographic Channel, BBC and NBC Dateline and was a consultant for the Mark Burnett/Roma Downey miniseries, The Bible having more than 100 million viewers.  New Article -  "Why an incredible new discovery proves that the Dead Sea Scrolls belong to Israel” - an amazing 12th Qumran cave has been discovered.

Doug Geivett 2017Dr. Doug Geivett is a professor of philosophy here at Talbot School of Theology and Biola University. He teaches courses in philosophy of religion, philosophical theology, epistemology, and Christian apologetics. He’s the author or editor of several books, including: Evil and the Evidence for God, Contemporary Perspectives on Religious Epistemology, Faith, Film and Philosophy, In Defense of Miracles, Being Good: Christian Virtues for Everyday Life, God’s Super Apostles: Encountering the Worldwide Prophets and Apostles Movement. Doug has published chapters in several other books, including: God Matters, God Under Fire, Jesus Under Fire, Four Views on Salvation in a Pluralistic World, The Rationality of Theism and Does God Exist? He’s now editing a book on The Testimony of the Spirit, and a two-volume reference work on the history of Christian apologetics.  Doug has served as minister to college students at churches in the Northwest and southern California. He’s lectured internationally in England, Scotland, France, Spain, Sweden, Ukraine, Mexico, and Australia. His interests include sea kayaking, motorcycling, and sailing. He and his wife, Dianne, have two grown daughters.;

Josh McDowell 2017Josh McDowell As a young man, Josh McDowell considered himself an agnostic, believing Christianity was worthless. When challenged to intellectually examine the claims of Christianity, he discovered compelling, overwhelming evidence for the reliability of the Christian faith. After trusting in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, Josh’s life changed dramatically as he experienced the power of God’s love. Josh graduated from Wheaton College and attended Talbot Theological Seminary, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Master of Divinity degree. In 1961 Josh joined the staff of Campus Crusade for Christ International. Not long after, he started the Josh McDowell Ministry to reach young people worldwide with the truth and love of Jesus. Well known as an articulate speaker, Josh has addressed more than 25,000,000 people, giving over 27,000 talks in 125 countries. Josh has authored or co-authored 147 books in over 100 languages including: More Than a Carpenter and New Evidence That Demands a Verdict. Josh will tell anyone that his greatest joys and pleasures come from his family. He and his wife Dottie have been married 45 years and have four children and ten grandchildren.

Sean McDowell 2017Dr. Sean McDowell Is a gifted communicator with a passion for equipping the church, and in particular young people, to make the case for the Christian faith. He connects with audiences in a tangible way through humor and stories while imparting hard evidence and logical support for viewing all areas of life through a Biblical worldview. Sean is an Assistant Professor in the Christian Apologetics program at Biola University. He is listed among the top 100 apologists. He graduated from Talbot Theological Seminary with a double Master’s degree in Theology and Philosophy and earned a Ph.D. in Apologetics and Worldview Studies from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Traveling throughout the United States and abroad, Sean speaks at camps, churches, schools, universities and conferences. He has spoken for organizations including Focus on the Family, the Chuck Colson Center for Christian Worldview, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the Association of Christian Schools International. Sean is the author, co-author or editor of over seventeen books including: Is God Just a Human Invention? and Understanding Intelligent Design. He and his wife, Stephanie have three children.
