For 52 years Boyd has been involved in discipling and developing leaders. With 40 years of full-time ministry experience as well as having worked as a Test Engineer, general contractor and a RADAR technician, Boyd has a broad array of experience that helps him understand the complex problems facing spiritual leaders today.
Boyd’s history with Antioch goes back to the first year of the church’s beginning, having served as an Elder, Pastor and now as an Ambassador.
Serving as President of Center for Leadership Development, a small mission organization, Boyd oversees staff who serve both here in the U.S. as well as in Asia and on the continent of Africa. In the past fifteen years he has made ten trips to Zambia, Malawi, Zimbabwe, and Tanzania taking teams as well as teaching in Bible School and conducting training camps for national leaders. In addition, he has conducted leadership seminars in South Africa, Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand.
The mission statement for CLD provides the guidelines for all of the staff: “To develop reproducing, godly leaders among all people in all spheres of influence globally”
Widowed in 2007 after 37 years of marriage, Boyd continues to invest in a new generation of spiritual leaders with the goal of ‘finishing well!’
